Not sure why it's rated hard. Flat, wide trail. It was cool and pleasant. It is probably incredibly hot during summer as the entire hike is unshaded. Very peaceful.

Good walk on what are essentially fire roads. The river spot is a hidden gem. Worked out to be 4.7 miles when you include the side path to the river.
