Blackbird Marsh Trail is a 1.7 mile loop trail located near Gulf Breeze, Florida that offers the chance to see wildlife and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and birding and is best used from March until May. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Fort Pickens is one of the few places you can experience unspoiled beach property. The trail runs through a marsh area near the campsites. There are numerous other places to hike and see historical structures from years past. There is a lot of wildlife including poisonous snakes and pesty raccoons.

Nice trail for bird watching, but not for an avid hiker. There are plenty of nesting areas out there and it's about 2 miles from Fort Pickens. Hard gravel that makes for a nice easy stroll.

It seems like every time I hike this trail there are huge mud puddles blocking the way. It seems like this trail is longer than just a half mile. Its fun though. Lots of cool scenery

Flat coastal trail. Lots of very interesting birds (including raptors). Getting there, you walk along part of the Florida National Scenic Trail. Can easily walk to the water as well. Take a tour of Fort Pickens at Gulf Islands National Seashore - the history lesson is very neat.
