Well marked trail. Didn't really need the map other than to let yourself how much further to go. Some nice views of the water way. A turtle came out of the brush and posed for some pics.

Nice hard pack trail. As long as you don't go mid day, there is a ton of shade.

Enjoyed both this and the Eagle Creek trail; this one was more crowded but I liked it a little better. Nice easy waterside trails with similar scenery that are good for walking or riding.

Great walk with views of river. Lots of shortcuts f you don’t want to travel so far. Saw Great Egret, Black Vulture, yellow-dumped warbler, osprey in the air, white ibis. Lover’s Key Trail is nearby.

Some shade, a lot of sun. Nice flora. An osprey or two, real highlight was seeing a manatee with baby! Also did Lover's Key Eagle Trail which was essentially the same. Follow my instagram for more adventures @julie_journeys

Lots of shade. East trail & dog friendly. Lovely to have the river on one side & enjoy canoeists going by. Most of the view in the rest benches is covered by vegetation.

Not as much shade as one would think but nice trail. Fun to see the gopher turtles out even in heat of day. No gators though.

Lovely hike. There was a slight breeze, the sandy path had a few small stumps to trip you so watch your step.

Nice walk in a state park. Trail was one way so I didn’t meet many other people and it’s one of the few where dogs are allowed. No wildlife seen except a few shore birds. There is an admission fee for the park.
