Black Bear Wilderness Area Trail is a 7.3 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Sanford, Florida that features a river and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
Best trail in the area in my opinion. Not really moderate but there are a lot of roots so be wary where you step!
Great trail! Came out way too late and it got dark FAST. Give this trail some time so you can enjoy :)
Well marked and offers a safe and wonderful hike for many different levels of hikers/walkers. From the average stroller, to the photographer at heart, to children, this hike combines flat terrain with wooden walkways over water to sloping land and light climbs over tree roots. Easy to forget that you are just on the outskirts of Orlando.
Nice half day hike with a cool spot to do some primitive camping!
