Great trail, although no shade so it is important to bring a lot of water. Perfect trail for running. This is a really good place to appreciate the wetlands of Florida. You will find a lot of wildlife, including big gators.

Good trail on a very hot day because it had decent shade on and off. Lots of animals were out but the broken boards on a lot of the boardwalks was a little concerning . Worth it

Perfect day on the trail. It was dry and not too hot. A nice mixture of birds on the lake.

apoxee was totally flooded but you can go down owahee which is less cool but not a complete bust, still some views and accessible from the same parking area. if you can't find it search for owahee on the app and it'll show up.

Great trail, no shadow, is important to bring tons of water. Perfect trail for running. I did 8 miles and temperature felt pretty high even though we were on the 70’. Big alligators, this is a really good place to appreciate the wetlands of Florida. You will find a lot of wildlife. Apoxee is flooded and closed by this time.

Apoxee trail is under major construction now. All trailheads are boarded off, don’t cross because you’ll end up in a lake! Owahee is open and a beautiful walk or ride

This is my favorite area to bike in West Palm Beach. It gets you away from the busy city and there is tons of wildlife. I usually see deer, alligators, raccoons and birds.

My friends and l did 4.7 miles and it was amazing! The trail kept us interested with so many different things to see especially a lot of gators. The trail would change from grass to dirt road to boardwalks. It’s been closed due to being too wet and finally little dry now. We loved it!

Beautiful place, but unfortunately closed trail. There is a short 1/4 mile paved walk, which is beautiful. Looking forward to the possibility of this trail being open again one day.

Only did the Owahee Trail by trail bike, riding in from Northlake Blvd gate. Signs said that the Apoxee Trail was closed due to flooding. The trail surface would be challenging for a road bike with narrow tires, mainly a service road covered by gravel, crushed shells and occasionally very fine sugar sand. Saw several wading birds and squirrels. A deer jumped across the trail in between me and another biker coming from the other direction. Fairly shady for the most part.
