no crocs or gators today, but to be expected - still in the warm months. don’t forget to cover vehicles w/ provided tarps otherwise vultures will land and scratch paint.

HikingBugsGreat!No shade

lovely boardwalk for a walk and accessible, I wanted to do this trail so bad because of all the reviews where you can see a lot of animal, well I guess it was NOT my lucky day we not even see a bird….. the view is beautiful and peaceful, SO don’t get disappointed for all the reviews and see NOTHING you were not the only one.

Bird Watching

Wonderful trail for photography! This is definitely a “tourist trail”, so go early to beat the crowds. A short looped boardwalk with lots of wildlife. As they see so many people everyday, the birds seem less skittish here, which can make it easier to grab some nice shots of them. If you stay there long enough, you’re guaranteed to see some animal behavior, like various birds hunting for food (or stealing fish from each other!) There can be a lot of vultures, so grab a tarp in the box to put over your car so the vultures don’t destroy it. Could be worth the hassle!

A heavily visited trail that gives visitors of all ages and abilities the chance to view Everglades wildlife. There hasn't been a time we've been that it wasn't crowded so if you are looking to escape crowds this one may not be for you.

I call this the "tourist" trail. It is crowded but well worth it. Plenty of wildlife and there are usually a lot of gators roaming the area which is really cool.

An excellent short walk in the winter. Suggest going in the early morning or in the evening to beat the crowd and there will be much more wildlife to view. Trail/boardwalk is very well maintained.

If you go to the Everglades don't spend much time on this trial. Short and boring.Just go and explore other trials.

Great opportunity to see a lot of wildlife. Saw a few gators and a lot of birds. If you bring polarized glasses, you will see a ton of fish in the water as well, a little harder without. Trail was very crowded but still absolutely worth it. The boardwalks allow you to see a lot out over the water.

Nice little walk with lots of opportunities to observe wildlife. Gator sightings are almost guaranteed upon careful examination. Lots of fish and birds also make for a very lively scenery on the short walk on the bridge.
