A good trail for kids, since it is completely paved. Not my type of hiking trail, but isn’t bad for tourists.

Great walk through a boardwalk with tons of wildlife. We saw lots of gators, birds, fish, huge grasshoppers, and turtles. Look closely in the lillypads and you may see the anhinga bird swimming under water, looking for food. Wear sunscreen and bug spray. Well worth your time!

Short and easy, beautiful hike. You will see A LOT of wildlife. There's plenty of alligators, crickets, turtles, fish and of course Anhinga's as the name suggests! We went during sundown and the scenery was priceless.

Paved and boardwalk. Lots of flowers and animals. Went in late February and saw several baby gators and a nest with anhinga chicks.

This is one of the coolest trails I have been ever been on simply because of the wildlife. Alligators, turtles, fish, birds… Everything. It is amazing even for a short trail.

I wouldn't call this a hike because the short trail is either paved of over a boardwalk the entire time, but it's AMAZING nonetheless. I must have seen at least 25 or 30 alligators. Several of them were only a dozen or so feet away from the trail with nothing separating me from them besides a stretch of swampy grass. We saw a lot of different birds and ducks as well. The views of the unique landscape are beautiful, but the wild alligators are the main attraction.

What a perfect little synopsis of the Everglades - lizards, gators, and a stunning variety of birds and plantlife. The boardwalk is very well thought out and beautifully built. There is also a neighboring trail loop to the west that offers a taste of the hammock ecosystems there. A great option for your first or only day in the Everglades.

This was an easy hike with so much to see! There were lots of alligators, turtles, and so many birds! There were plenty of Anhinga, of course, but we also saw great blue herons, egrets, and many more. VERY beautiful!

This is a very well maintained kid friendly trail the whole trail is either paved or transitioned into a very well maintained broadwalk. There are public restrooms at the beginning of the trail. Saw lots of animals, alligators, turtles, double crested cormorants, great blue herons, great egrets, and purple gallinules. I didn’t see any aninghas to my surprise.

One of the few options available with parts of the Everglades still closed after the hurricane. Nothing too exciting here.

Boardwalk trail, easy for all abilities with a high chance of seeing alligators, turtles, anhingas, fish, and other birds. Very busy trail but worth doing once.

This trail is short but well worth seeing - especially in the dry season!! There are so many different types of wildlife to see. There were also more alligators on this trail than I've ever seen atone time. We counted roughly 25-30 alligators in one spot at the end of the trail. We felt like we were in the movie Jurassic Park. Not long, but worth seeing while in the Everglades.

Easy walk with lots of alligators and wildlife. A little crowded, but that was to be expected. Sad to see some of the people were throwing sticks at alligators and provoking wildlife.
