nice aerial view of Newark and area. Near pump house you can see Delaware Memorial bridge towers. Also get mix of animals mostly Mallards and Canadian Geese. Spring time there are plenty of baby chicks!
Surprisingly nice view of Newark. The reservoir itself is pretty, the trail is very nice and marked with distances.
Very nice trails, clean, and well manteined, nice view at the sunset, lot of birds at the water, definitely will go back to this trail.
Steep hill to start the hike around the reservoir. Nice views from the top. White Clay trails can be accessed from the walking path around the reservoir.
nice uphill walk to the resevoir. scenic views of Newark de.
Amazing. The hill is alittle steep but totally worth it.
love this trek, but certainly not a nature hike. the path is a wide paved road with quality asphalt. The uphill portion is a challange with a 55lb ruck. followed by a decent lap or two around the resivor. highly recommended for night trekking. the top is a great vantage point for the Newark skyline.
