Gorgeous and well maintained. Saw no trash anywhere. Blazes are clear on the first half (clockwise) but watch for the blue and white “accidental shortcut” around halfway. Definitely worth the detour to the falls!

A nice looped trail. The first part is along the river and at times has uneasy footing. Followed by a steep incline. The last segment travels through the woods. There are no precipices views, but it’s still a beautiful hike.

great loop if you follow the blue trail into the interior of the park and then take a right on the red trail, which brings you north and you can connect with the zore River Trail to make a loop.

Nice views of the lake. Saw a few large black snakes which we weren’t to fond of though!

HikingGreat!

Trail hugs the river with great view of Jackson Cove and the forest in Kettletown State Park. Most of the path was flat although at specific points it could get narrow and rocky. There are a few good spots to sit next to the river, where the 4 and 6 yo can play with the water, and they enjoyed it especially when the boats make waves. Overall, a serene setting that feels more like we are in the woods, with some motor boat noises, but for example less traffic and chattering than the nearby Bee Brook trail we went several weeks ago.
