Devil’s Hopyard is somewhat disappointing. It is so “human traveled.” There are so many better more beautiful hikes in CT. We won’t be back.

It was a nice hike! Awesome to go on with my dog. It rained the night before so some areas were slippery so we had to be careful so my dog didn’t cause me to slip and fall.

this is one of my favorite places. it can be a bit crowded on certain days but it's beautiful. muddy during the wet season.

Loved this loop! On the back end there were some spots that were washed out so be careful of slippery rocks/logs if your going after a rainstorm. Enjoy the view from the Vista!

My all time go to trails. Every corner has stunning sights I love it here and so does the pup!

Nice hiking trail. There is some elevation and a few spots where you need to pay attention to footing and trail markers and one section where you climbed up some rocks (not too steep). Recommend hiking boots as there are a few sections that cross streams and very wet ground. We did the full orange loop in about 1 hour (we are both very fit). Views of the ridge-line are pretty. Glad we finally hiked in Devi's Hopyard and will likely return to see what is on the other trails.

Hiked it with two 5year olds. A little rocky. Totally doable with kids. Great views and lots of extras. Found some trees that fell over the stream that we got to cross. Lots of fun!

Excellent trail. Losing yourself is definitely an option - blazes are sometimes random. Scrambles are fun. Dog loved it
