Three interconnected trusts in Northern Fairfield County. Varied woodland trail through moderate terrain. Highlights include vernal pool, rock outcrops, and small scenic overlook.

~2 mile loop. Starting from parking lot on Rte.37, hiked up Towner Hill and then down to loop through Irene's Woods. Both are loops of approx. 1mile. See uploaded trail map.
Caution: Connecting trail does not exist (yet?), so scrambled down the hill off-trail to connect the two parts, which was cumbersome.
Bugs are annoying, particularly in Irene's Wood as it is close to swamp land. Nothing exciting, no views.

Good hike. Trail not terribly well groomed. My sons & I had a nice walk in the woods.
