I went two days ago, and then today after the Nor'Easter. It was beautiful the first time, great walk, beautiful foliage. Part of the trail is "closed" but I didn't know where else to go so I continued on. They say bricks may fall on you by the old mills, but you can walk around the mill you don't need to go through it. Today, after the storm there are lots of trees down but I'm sure they will clean it up soon. It was still passable. I really like this hike. I've seen so much wildlife here, including blue herons, egrets, hawks, ducks, geese, and bald eagles. I started the trail at the official start in Union Pond Park, but you could also start from Northwest Park.
