It’s an easy walk through the woods. The trail was pretty buggy and once you turn off to go to the marker it gets kinda rocky but not too bad. It’s neat to be at an intersection like this.

The trailhead is across the street from the parking lot! Don’t make the same mistake I did! Easy hike and very cool!

Nice walk/hike. Saw very few people. Took Tri-State trail up to marker. The walk up to marker is over rocky trail but it isn’t steep or long so very pleasant. At marker took the R.I. trail further up to the tri-state trail. This portion of walk was also rocky and uphill, but not steep. Hooked up with the Tri-State trail. Tri-State was muddy and wet in a lot of places, but plenty of room to pick your way around. Building foundations are fun to poke around. I then hooked up to the airline trail to get back to car. This is a wide trail with view of the water/river.

The hike is as expected. Not really challenging and if you're overall physically healthy the hill/rocky terrain is a breeze. enjoyable!

starts easy walk on airline trail (which has a really cool old wooden bridge that may have led to hermits cave but, I didnt find that info until after the hike)turn to bistate marker then up & down rocky terrain to tristate marker. markers are like 130 years old so that's cool in itself besides being in 2 or 3 states at once. went late fall so a bit of slippery footing but, still fun & just long enough.

First leg nice and easy. When you turn off main trail becomes rocky. I like that type of terrain. One friend had a walking stick and she definitely used it. The path down from the marker was steep and washed out but eventually flattened out. If you find the rocky path up hard would not recommend continuing the loop but go back the way you came to avoid the steep downward washout.

Nice trail. I'd call it moderate rather than easy, changing inclinations and rocky, but it's short so that eases its level of difficulty. many off trail options, first timers keep your eyes open because the trail is not well marked at the tristate point and has several cleared path options. I ended up a quarter mile deep in RI my first time because I was unsure of the correct path to make the loop.

Well marked. Tri State marker about halfway through. Also bi State marker at beginning. Use map or you could get off on another trail that connects at beginning. Two geocaches on the trail. Great trail to reach tri State marker. Great state park as well. Went in winter and was still well maintained and good parking.

This hike is not easy. The walk to the marker is sometimes steep and very rocky. We went after some heavy rain, and parts of the trail were small ponds. Beautiful hike, but should be rated moderate in difficulty.

Nice walk. The tree marks were not the easiest to find. When we made it to the tri State marker it was hard to find the blue marker from our trail. All in all it was a nice walk.

Great easy hike. Starts along the Air Line trail right off East Thompson rd. Little less than a mile up trail on left is a sign for the TSM trail loop. Not marked but well worn and an easy follow up a moderate trail to the TSM. Here you are at intersection of 3 states. Quick loop trail back to Air Line trail. Good amount of geocaches in the area and lots to check out along the trails.
