Great easy hike. Two lookouts which are very pretty. Well marked and maintained too
Great hike in the snow! Been doing this trail for years, mostly with dogs. If you park at the entrance, the trail ascends directly upward which is the best bet here. Walking the seasonal road to the end brings you out to the beach area and you miss the "exercise" portion of this mild hike.
Trail was nice until at the very end we were greeted by a group of 12 unleashed dogs circling the area, jumping on us, and getting in our faces. So much for social distancing! The rules about leashing your dogs are clearly not enforced and residents think the entire area is a dog park. Reality is there is only one small beach area that allows dogs off leash. I would not recommend going unless you really love dogs and don’t care about a dozen of them getting into your personal space during a global pandemic.
