Gorgeous day and trail. An easy route but also a really fun one! Mostly empty despite the weather and weekend. Wouldn’t try this when it’s icy because of the rocks but wholeheartedly recommend otherwise if you’re looking for a ~2 hour lively walk. I got mildly turned around a few times because I have the directional skills of that Bishop villanelle, but overall it’s easy to follow and especially so with the AllTrails map!

My favorite spot is the white circles trail With a spectacular canyon, Near Granite Road and south of the Pond. I can only imagine what it’s like in the winter With ice building up. The bog walk is cool too and leads to some extra large boulders. Also, the white circle trail along the east side of the Quarry has some pretty cool ledges.

This is an easy to moderate trail, wide in most places. It can be pretty busy, and I was never too far from other people when I went on a decent day recently. There is some nice scenery, including a cool view from the top of a rock/cliff, and a small waterfall right at the trail entrance.

Cross Quarry Road to Green rectangle to Blue rectangle to Pink rectangle back to Green rectangle. Watch for muddy water along Pink. If dog gets too muddy, continue down Green to visit the fresher water for a rinse before heading back to your car.
