There is not a parking lot, but an area of the road big enough to pull over in which is fine. The trails are marked well. I did end up going down some bits of trail that ended up not being a part of any trail that was on the map by accident. There are several muddy sections with LOTS of bugs. Very easy, took me 30 min to complete the blue-white trail. Dogs are allowed on leash but be advised there is a big sign about coyotes in the woods (I live in this area and have lost my cat to coyotes, and see them around in spring-summer enough that personally I would not suggest bringing a dog with you for this trail. If you want to hike in this area but are nervous about the coyotes a small blow horn is a must have with you, it scares them away.

Easy walk with my dog. Muddy in some spots so wear hiking boots.
