This trail is 3.25 around. Easy parking, multiple choices around the loop. Good for running, walking, dogs on leash. Also a good kayaking pond.

First, I did the Scovill loop trail in Middletown . I didn't realize there were two different Scovill Loop trails in the state and I was not in Wolcott . this led to me getting lost . At the Hubbard Preserve in the Scovill Loop trails, I tried to take the northern loop. I hit the railroad tracks and didn't know which way to go, but left takes the tracks over water. with 3 dogs, couldn't do it. Scovill Loop Trails is not marked correctly in AllTrails, so I didn't have a map. The local map wasn't great considering the amount of Crossroads I came to and had no idea where they led to. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any Hubbard Preserve Trails in Alltrails.

Very lovely walk! There is a nice stand of mountain Laurel that will be lively in bloom. there is one confusing section near the beach where you walk along the road for a bit. no big deal, imho. I will be back often!

Nice town owned park. Trail around the reservoir is fairly flat, there are a few spots you have to walk along roads. There is a fit trail on one section. Today, there was several inches of snow. Good for snow showing.

This is more of a walking trail, pretty flat all the way around, and you do have to walk on the road twice. With that said, it is very pretty, and a good place to get the miles in if you're not ready for a challenge.

Perfect for getting back into shape and lots of inspirational painted rocks

You have to cross on to a busy road to get back to the trail. Not much of a hike but more of a walk.
