Scantic River Trail - Somersville is a 3.4 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Somersville, Connecticut that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until December. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Great trail that takes you through the woods and scenic views of the river. Park at the trailhead at the Quality Ave entrance in Somersville.
Great local trail that is well marked. Recent Eagle Scout project built a brigde over a stream that feeds the Scantic river. Other Eagle scout project added a walkway over a swampy area of the trail.
