The river views are really nice with several small water falls along the way. Not much of a hike more like a simple walk, very easy trail.
Nice place to walk the dog!
Nice couple of trout pools along the path as well as a beaver dam
nice easy trail by a river, terrible parking, also has spot to grill and swimming
Nice trail, marked nicely. The river was very pretty.
Nice walk along the Scantic River. There are remains of the Hazard Powder Co along the trail. The hike from the river to the ridge is a little steep going up and quite steep coming down. There were quite a few fishing and some nice catches.
Went to scantic linear park east was nice and easy beautiful but wouldn't recomend goin in the water nice clay river bed definitely cool. Further down the road you can get to another part (west).
Cool trail. A little hard to find. It has picnic tables at the beggining which is perfect for those hot days when families come and go tubin down the river! It's a lot of fun. Aside from the hot day river tubbers, this place isn't too crowded
