very easy trails, nothing marked very well but whatever trail you follow in just follow out.. many people were bbq and floating in the water at the very beginning when you park your cars

Clean, not as long of a trail as I expected. The river was pretty. And very flat.

More a walk than a hike. Been here plenty of times. Not bad. Summer weekends parking is tough and gets messy with folks who litter. Hit up the creamery for ice cream after!

The river views are really nice with several small water falls along the way. Not much of a hike more like a simple walk, very easy trail.

Nice walk along the Scantic River. There are remains of the Hazard Powder Co along the trail. The hike from the river to the ridge is a little steep going up and quite steep coming down. There were quite a few fishing and some nice catches.

Cool trail. A little hard to find. It has picnic tables at the beggining which is perfect for those hot days when families come and go tubin down the river! It's a lot of fun. Aside from the hot day river tubbers, this place isn't too crowded
