There is parking at either end, on the shoulder, and a better parking spot where the pavement ends on Paradise Ave. As the trail heads uphill from Brooks Rd there is an old dam, somewhat picturesque. The pond has silted up. After a steep climb the trail runs along the crest of a ridge, with occasional views out over bodies of water. There is a junction with the Regicides Trail, also blue blazed, very clearly blazed and labeled. A short distance from Old Coach Hwy, there is an old truck (what's left of it) sitting by a stream. There is a fair amount of steep, rough and rocky terrain.
