Hiking

My girlfriend, Madison, and our dog Gump have been going hiking together for some time now and finally decided to upload what we do! We walk slow and take many breaks to arrow head hunt, site see, relax as well as enjoy our time talking. This trail was perfect for all that and more. With the beautiful pond shown with a bench for leisure and great snacks! Taking the road offered a different perspective alternative to driving it with plenty of space for cars to pass. - The Cross Country Crawlers

Did the full loop. Peaceful and fun. Trail was fairly populated in some spots and totally serene and quiet in other spots. Nice long hike.

Great moderate hike! We got a little lost and did it in about 2 hrs 45 min at a pretty decent pace. The first half is definitely more challenging than the second half which is mostly flat.

This is a really nice hike: you pass through different kinds of woods, reach two lovely vistas, and the 7 miles proves a solid mid-length walk. Small complaints: for much of the time you're not really going up or down or seeing new things, I didn't like how often you cross country roads, it's not always clear how to follow this loop, and after a few dry days you lose any waterfalls you might have seen. Still, a great way to spend a day in the forest.

Nice hike. If you head clockwise, you will get 90% of the elevation completed. The view at the top is worth the work. Lots of cool things to see along the way too.

Beautiful 7.33 mile hike. I took Robert Ross Trail to Jessie Gerard Trail to Charles Pack Trail to Agnes Bowen Trail. Great birdwatching, lookouts, streams through the forest. Once or twice I had trouble finding a marker, but it wasn’t bad. Challenging physically, fun, interesting.
