Plenty of parking off Dunkin Rd. Thank God for this app! I began with green, to do loop, but 1/2 way thru the app says to take Orange (left) and I got to the large boulder. I saw how much I had left and it seemed to be a lot of scrambles, which I didnt wanna do today, especially close to dusk. I ran into a lady who was coming the way I was going and she was lost. I helped her back to the way I came. After trying to keep going, I decided to turn around and go back the way I came. It is confusing. Beware- I ran into 7 large dogs unleashed! as they ran toward my 14 lb dog, I had to lift him up constantly. I did have 3 mountain bikers pass me, which 1 was polite and called out he was behind me. other 2 pretty much rode quickly past me pushing me over to the side. It was rocky, muddy, lots of tree roots and not much for scenery- but woods;so I guess if you want a walk in the woods, this is it! I need to download the main map off the QR on the board and study it if I choose to come back to try to find the items, such as the squeeze, the camp and other things marked on main map board.
Fantastic trails! Green triangle to Orange circle to Red triangle to Green circle to Blue rectangle. 2.5 miles
An unexpected gem!! This is a huge forest, filled with side trails and challenges. 4 stars only due to the very icy conditions, otherwise a great place to breathe!
