Trail was well marked but fairly muddy in places. Small sections were moderate but the majority of the hike was on the easy level. A lot of bugs on the trail so bring plenty of bug spray. One thing to note is there is a firing range near the trailhead. The folks there were incredibly nice, but expect to have regular gunfire echoing through the woods for the majority of your hike.

Good parking at end of street. Pass the Glastonbury outdoor shooting range about .5 mile into trail. Gets very close to Rt 2 before a steep incline followed by fantastic ridge hiking. Plenty of little streams for the pups to drink from

We did a loop by going to the pipeline and back via the pink blaze trail. Good walk in the woods.

Many options with this trail. Follow blue trail and you will come out on Goodale Hill Rd. Take a left off trail onto a woods road, and on the left is a trail leading to a reservoir and dam once used by East Hartford.
On the right side of main trail, there are two areas that lead to "tubes" which go underneath Route 2.
