This is a beautiful little Narnia of nature walks/hikes. Perfect for your younger children explorers/hikers! Beautifully enclosed feels like you are somewhere else, like another world. It is easy to navigate. LOTS of butterflies, dragonflies, flowers, birds and even turkeys when we went in the early summer.
This is a beautiful little Narnia gem of a nature walk literally 2 minutes from the flagpole. Limited parking available on the street. Imagine walking through a waist high meadow of wild strawberries, wildflowers, butterflies and bees right before you enter what looks to be a little world of enclosed tree canopy, mossy and ivy covered tree trunks with the air filled with bird sounds. Wet and muddy in spots and some pieces overgrown and not cleared of brush and poison ivy which is the only reason i gave it 4 stars. We saw at least three different types of dragonflies and butterflies. Great for bird watching. Easy for even a young young child to navigate.loved it.
