Look for the Blue Trailhead sign on the side of the road across from Hopeville Pond State Park parking lot. We didn't pay attention and took a different trail in search of the "little waterfall" for the CT DEEP Sky's the Limit Hiking Challenge. When we reached a quarry we realized we did something wrong!

We returned back to the parking lot and then found the trailhead sign up the road a little bit. Nice trail that crosses over a few water creeks. One had a few railroad ties to step across which were not firmly placed ... so beware and cross carefully. the "little waterfall" was only a trickle. We chalked it up to the summer and lack of a good recent rain.
