Millington Trail Loop is a 2 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Millington, Connecticut that features a river and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is best used from April until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
After not encountering a single hiker on this trail on a lovely spring day, getting to the small lake at the end feels like discovering a little secret. A nice less trafficked option in Devils Hopyard.
red trail was wet but a good moderate hike. Also took the white and purple trails too but there was lots of limbs and tree damage. doesn't look like they get much traffic.
Lots of gorgeous neon green Moss, beautiful ancient trees, excellent elevation to the lookout. Wonderful!
Nice. Started early on a Friday. Nobody else here. Beautiful water views and falls.
A lot of people near the waterfall. almost no one on the trails across the street. Blue loop isn't on the DEEP map, but it's well marked.
A lot of downed trees but otherwise it was ok. Bridge is out in the middle with big signs from DEEP that it’s not passable but it’s dry and passable below it.
Lots of of elevation changes....great workout. There are multiple trail changes def make sure you have the app.
Low traffic on the yellow trail, well marked until the straight shot to the lake. But the app and observing the blazed trail kept me on track. The red trail is well marked and open and you can move quick. Almost all of the elevation changes is on the yellow trail. Overall a good hike.
