This is a beautiful nature walk, perfect for all age levels. The trail is beautifully enclosed and feels like you are in another world. It is easy to navigate. There are lots of butterflies, dragonflies, flowers, birds, and even turkeys. You can easily connect to other trails on Holcombe Hill, or cross Birch Hill Road and connect to other trails including the Holcombe Memorial Trail.

This is a beautiful little Narnia gem of a nature walk literally 2 minutes from the flagpole. Limited parking available on the street. Imagine walking through a waist high meadow of wild strawberries, wildflowers, butterflies and bees right before you enter what looks to be a little world of enclosed tree canopy, mossy and ivy covered tree trunks with the air filled with bird sounds. Wet and muddy in spots and some pieces overgrown and not cleared of brush and poison ivy which is the only reason i gave it 4 stars. We saw at least three different types of dragonflies and butterflies. Great for bird watching. Easy for even a young young child to navigate.loved it.
