HikingGreat!Snow

This was an easy, family friendly trail that is well marked. We did this hike after a fresh snowfall and found many animal tracks in the snow. The woods are teaming with wildlife although we didn't personally see any today. If you do this hike, make sure to visit the large cages to the rear of the nature center. There you can see a variety of owls and hawks. I plan on doing this hike again in the warmer months.

HikingGreat!

Great walk through the woods. Went with 2 kids and 2 dogs. We parked at the welcome center, which is right down the road from the Mystic Aquarium. There were lots of trails, stone walls, and even an old foundation to a mansion in the middle of the woods that the kids liked exploring. I would love to go back and explore more. The trails were pretty well marked. It helped that I took a photo of the big map at the beginning of the trail.

Did blue to purple trails to Coogan Farm; great hike. If it has rained a lot I recommend boots-very muddy and wet in spots

Excellent trails. Easy for kids. Mainly flat. Lots of bridges and walk ways over water. Fields. Woods. Large boulders to climb on. At the nature center were several birds of prey, ex. owls, falcons to look at. Very fun day!

Very nice place to walk on simple, easy terrain nature trails. Neat bird conservatory. We brought our 11 month old in a baby carrier so it was perfect for a family walk. There were many benches to sit down on, which was nice for us to stop and have a little picnic. There is an admission, which we weren't aware of, $8 adults and $5 kids, however you can go to your local library and get a free pass. We only went on one of many trails, the forest loop. Overall beautiful, thriving foliage and wildlife. We would definitely go again.

Great little local park for mt. biking ! Easy but moderate at points . Great little spot to ride for the afternoon, with a lot of different cutoff .. Very hard to get lost a its well marked and most trails end up back at the park office... Single track w some bridges.. Not very technical but just fun to ride....
