Love this place for running and hiking. It’s great for my dog too since a brook flows through much of the place. I feel safe hiking here in the fall since there is no hunting in the refuge.

Loved this hike for my puppy and I. It's beautiful and quiet with lots of little streams and ponds to check out.

A trail map at the Barndoor entrance would be helpful. We found a juvenile black bear on the trail to the Trout Pond. Would not do this one alone, but a lot of nice trails here.

This is not an easy trail of you take the summit route. Take the Spring Pond route for an easy hike
