Well maintained trail with great signage. No possible way to get lost! I did it counter clockwise from the north entrance.. The trail is relatively easy to begin. Once the first mile is out of your way, some interesting rock formations come across your path with some good ups and downs. This is where the moderate rating comes in. I was disappointed in the lack of overlooks along the ridge at 700'. Also, with the name of the trail having the word 'Brook' in it, you would hope for more than 1/10th of a mile of water peeping in the 4.2 mile trek (and that was at the parking lot)...

Amazing trail/park. Especially nice with the snowfall. Trails are well marked with the occasional info board. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent trail, very well marked. Beautiful views especially once the leaves fall. Definitely moderate, and very steep with craggy rocks in some areas.

Very well marked, but some sections of the red trail were very over grown. Overall, nice hike.

Really nice geology in here, and didn't see a soul. I'll definitely be back!

Great trail with some good inclines and rocky terrain. Wear good shoes and bring bug spray in the summer months. I have been coming here for years. Good workout.

I gave this hike 4 stars because it is so well marked and maintained. It is an easy, family friendly, pet friendly hike. There are a couple of elevation changes that would barely measure a moderate rating The trails today were lightly traveled. We took full advantage of Table Rock and enjoyed out lunch there. Indian Chair and Wolf Den are also must sees on this hike. We bumped this four mile hike to 6.5 miles by including the center 2 trails in our hike. This park is close by and always a favorite place to hike. There is a lot of wildlife here. Unfortunately for us, we saw none today. Go to the DEEP website and download a map of the trails for this State Park. You will see the two center trails I referred to.

Moderately challenging trail with lots of roots and rocks. Not heavily traveled by other hikers and a great place to take the dog. A nice hike for the type of terrain found here. Downsides: a lot of standing water and beginning of spring lent to an over abundance of black flies and a good bit of mosquitos.
