I would recommend staying west of the 2 reservoir ponds. There are heavily trafficked paved trails around the reservoir and a lot of the non-paved trail runs directly behind people's houses.

nothing really special and sadly I was not able to do a loop I ended up going to the New Hartford reservoir then back the same way. killkenny rock from what I was told is a blow as well it was just the loose stone gravel which is a lot of the trail. the beginning is not bad if we had some views when you gradually climb up the rocks and all. how you can loop back the car I am still no sure. very quiet trail and a lot of places where their are no blue marks seems all kinds of side trails from the mountain bikes.

The trail was nice but this loop weaves between a few unmarked trails, some that were overgrown, on the back half I stayed along a gravel path that stayed parallel to the indicated trail. Overall very nice and minimal bugs, saw a few deer and a bunch of turkeys
