It’s a beautiful trail. It is on the harder side, as the trails are narrow and rocky. It’s a great workout, with very nice views. The trails are well marked

We came from Southbury so we parked at Jackson Cove instead of driving to the trailhead. Was a beautiful hike. Trails are well marked

Easy trail had we stuck to the apps map. Follow the blue and white painted trail guides, the blue guides will lead you onto a steeper, longer trail that is great for those who are adventurous and want to truly get "lost in the woods."

Perfect mix of tougher hiking spots and more leisurely walking stretches. Views were obstructed by the trees, but overall solid trail.

Decent trail. A little technical, so a fun hike. Has definitely been hit by Isaias so a bit messy right now but I’m sure that’ll clear with time. My watch clocked it at 4.05mi, 1,072ft elevation. PARKING: I was so confused at first because it’s super easy to miss the trailhead. It’s at the end of the culdesac directly to the right of the big sign that says “Lake Side Estates”—so you just park on the street.

Nice local trail that gives you some up and downs. Not really a loop - more of an out and back w a loop at the end. The farthest point of this trail if you go right instead of turning left on the end of the loop you will go right into Jackson cove in oxford - mini beach on the lake and pavilion.

Quiet leg burner. Lots of ups and downs, some steep, rock sections and some stream crossing. Would recommend trekking poles if you have them. Def will be back.
