Ice House Ruins Loop is a 1.1 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Litchfield, Connecticut that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until November. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

This little know trail will take you on a short loop throught the Ice House Ruins left behind from when ice blocks where cut out of Bantam Lake.

I parked on north shore road in litchfield, there are no signs saying you can't park there....it was fairly easy to find. nice view of the swampyish lake
