Flat and easy strolling. Beautiful wildflower meadows and views of the hills around Farmington as well as the lovely Pope-Riddle house which constitutes the must-see Hill-Stead Museum. Trails are free to access from the museum parking lot. There are a variety of small interconnecting loop trails through woods, meadows, and wetlands. Great bird watching. Also accessible to though hikers from the Blue Trail which abuts the property.

Beautiful grassy trails on the grounds of the Hillstead Museum, also a must see. Grounds are open to the public year round. Park at the museum. Lots of birds and wildflowers.
