Very beautiful, lots of scrambling. It was much more difficult than we expected, but it was very well marked
Great trail, more challenging than we expected. Good views, and some more aggressive climbing than we anticipated. Scrambling happened! We went clockwise and the shallow finish was nice. Very well marked, too bad the app doesn’t tell you which trail colors we are going to be following
This was a great workout, lots of ups and downs and quite a bit of rock climbing! We did it counter clockwise and I think this is probably the better way since I like to go up the rocks instead of down them. Lots of nice views too. Not many people especially in back area away from the main part of Sleeping Giant.
cut off portion of blue trail due to time constraint. steep rock climb about half way through. very quiet on this side of the park.
Beautiful escarpments. Definitely fun doing it clockwise. It just kept getting more beautiful. There were more people than we expected every time we got close to the main road/trail, and you have to be careful of dog poop scattered about the trail occasionally. Also, I would not recommend doing what we did and hiking this trail during or after a rain. The super fun rock scrambles become a lot more treacherous.
We followed Jessica Vetter’s shorter trail. We went counter clockwise. It was great with some really difficult scrambles. Be aware that the trail is blocked in some places by downed trees from the recent storm. The trails are well marked. There were no bugs which was a nice change.
Great trail super fun. If you keep on the inside trails it is less crowded.
