Visited the park for the 1st time today and hiked the orange blazed trail. everything was extremely well marked, and the switchbacks going up the hills were appreciated! The orange trail was very narrow and overgrown with prickers and poison ivy. There were small features marked on the map, such as farms and a "flume" but they were underwhelming. Overall it's a nice spot, and we'd like to come back to try some more of the trails.

Very well marked trail. A lot of different trail options. Looking forward to going back in the spring/summer months.

We loved it! This was our first time here. The trails are so well marked and there are many different options depending on how long you want to hike. We did the red trail. Such a gorgeous place!

Did the orange blazed trail (Heritage). Fantastic hike! Love all of it. Great time of year for this trail as the mountain laurel is in full bloom. And smells so sweet.

This place is a gem! One of my current favorites. There are actually quite a few marked trails running through the park. The two longest, the orange-blazed Heritage Trail and the red-blazed Nubble and Ridges Trail are each 2.5 to 3 miles long, and run from moderate to difficult. These are extremely well-marked and thoughtfully planned trails. Man-made wooden bridges alternate with natural rock over streams. All of the trails are well-maintained. It is rocky and hilly terrain, with beautiful stone walls throughout, miles of mountain laurel and doesn't seem to get crowded, even on a beautiful day.

The heritage trail loop is a great trail with lots of history: old stone walls, foundations, chimneys etc.
