I hit "save" prematurely on my recording, but did the whole loop. Early flat rooty section by the water yielded to more rocky terrain on trail heading west and north. Well marked and clear paths. Good pair of moderate elevation climbs. Little tricky finding way down, though it was my first time on this trail but the App kept me honest. Great views from western ridge can see all the way to Hartford on my hike.

Perfect length trail that includes a beautiful view. Counterclockwise requires a very steep vertical incline but going clockwise would require you to go down it so just suck it up and go vertical first!! Up top the views are amazing and can't wait to go back when the leaves change.

Second time we have completely lost the trail when we change from Blue to red - not sure what our issue is.

Loved this place! Got lost a few times (blue and yellow and white were all confusing to follow) but having this app helped a ton. Gorgeous views and the trails all seemed interconnected which was great too! Good workout

My dog and I went on a Tuesday and there were only a few people there which was nice. We did the blue trail to yellow to red to blue. Great lookouts on the blue trail, very pretty. The yellow trail is very rocky and difficult to walk on. Over all a great place to hike

I went a couple of weeks ago. Lots of trees down, branches and vines ended up getting lost because paths were not well marked in some areas. On the way out, saw what looked like the shed of a rattlesnake.

It was a lovely sunrise hike! Easy and well marked for the most part. I felt safe there and really enjoyed the beauty.

Overall, not a bad hike. I went counterclockwise and I'm glad I did because it was nice to have that level area at the end when I was more tired. I went way off track at one point because I was simply following the blue trail. The signage was a bit misleading. I should have known better really, because the blue trail system just doesn't work that way. When you get to the red trail you need to take it to the yellow trail and then pick up the blue to head back. I had debated whether or not to bring my trekking poles but they were very useful on all that loose rock. The area around the reservoir is heavily populated but once you get further into the woods it seems there are far fewer hikers.

We did a shortened version of this. Started counter clockwise. Lots of climbing and rocks so wear boots. Great views and interesting switch back trails in places. We went around the lake. Nice easy walk back. I'd recommend it.

Hard to tell how many miles as the app kept pausing. Couldn’t continue and had to save. Went clockwise.

Mild ascent considering the quality views by CT standards. Predominately loose rock so supportive hiking boots shoes beneficial.

The trail was a great workout, especially going counterclockwise. It was deceiving and felt a lot longer than 4.6 miles
