I love this trail,so many different ways to go. A lot of interesting views. Many animals along the trail, deer, chipmunks and turtles as well as a vast variety of birds!!

A nice trail. Go counterclockwise to hit the steps first. Beautiful views of New Haven and my kids did it no problem, but this is for sure a once and done for me. A little too urban for my liking.

Lots of trails Criss crossing all over, trails not very well marked. Lots of downed trees from the hurricane Tuesday. Great view of the city at the top. Nice trails along the Mill River and marsh areas with interesting bridges.

Lots of downed trees, but to be expected after a storm of that magnitude.

Nice hike. A little more urban with more people and daily noises but it has a little bit of everything: Lakes, views, rock steps, etc. Very fun hike for a Sunday afternoon.

We went at a quiet time of day and it was a joy. I’m giving the trail four stars because there was some glass on trail. Otherwise, it was a perfect hike! The memorable part of the hike was seeing a buck on the trail who was not interested in moving, so we took an extra long detour. Just a heads up for anyone else doing this loop, there is plenty of wildlife.

A bit boring, went on a trail then back onto the road up. Started at the Davis st parking lot. Kid-friendly.

Been a several times. Didn't follow the trail loop but the top has some great views. Followed the paved trail on the way down in the dark. I've never seen so many fireflies in my life which greatly improved the hike. Very easy trail with nice shortcut trails to the top.

Followed the red Mt bike trail. Loops and it felt like the game chutes and ladders. Never really got a feel if a straight up hike. The trail map was in the parking lot. Never saw it until I returned to my car. View amazing.
