This is NOT a marked trail. It is a bunch of trails (some OFF trail) linked together to GET you to some peaks. We could not do this without LOOKING at the damn phone the entire time. Phone died before we reached Indian Head so we couldn't do that. https://chicagohash.com/hashing-tools/hash-song-book/down-down-songs/shitty-trail/
There were some fallen trees on the trail from yesterday's storm. It was kind of crowded, especially at the top, even in the late afternoon.
More of a hike than a run. Pretty trail and some good scenes. I am a runner so I’m not a big fan of climbing along rocky cliff faces on side of a mountain. If you like that stuff you will like this trail.
Only went to 3 of the peaks, but I absolutely loved the first one. So, so worth it.
This was a fun little climb to multiple high points which lead to some nice views. The streets were blocked off so at the spots where the trail meets the road there wasn’t much danger. Overall very nice! Although I would not bring pets as some sections had a lot of broken glass on the trail.
