Dean Ravine and Barrack Mountain Trail is a 6 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Falls Village, Connecticut that features a great forest setting and is rated as difficult. The trail is primarily used for hiking, trail running, and backpacking and is best used from April until November.
East side of loop, a lot of unmarked trails and woods roads to follow. Trespassing may be an issue, we were told we were on private property by dude in pick up truck on Rocky Road. Otherwise a good hike, the falls in the ravine were spectacular. Don't attempt loop if you're not comfortable walking unmarked and unmapped trails.
