Trail was a little good, if not very muddy. Markings were so so, & the beginning is a little bit deceptive

Quick walk in the woods with a few bridges, some cool foundations and a well.

Very muddy in spots. It is located behind the tennis court. Easy trail slight inclines.

The foundation and well are both interesting to see. But other than that, just a walk in the woods.

I was here about 10 years ago and it wasn’t marked well at all... today was a different story.. Blue blazeswere obvious everywhere and the cool old rock structure and deep well were easily found.. it was a little wet at the beginning of the trail but the rest was easily passable. There is also a Geocaching Hidden in this park which was an additional fun find.

This can be a fun, quick walk/hike. There are three benches, one currently unusable, along the trail. Although it was probably someone who was off-roaring this wide trail they appear to have cleared a large downed tree. However the trail shows fairly frequent use which has left the trail with deep ruts and scaring. The park shares a border with the Ledyard Sportsman’s Club. Gunfire from their range can often be heard on the trail. The nature of the terrain provides a significant barrier but it can alsomake the gunfire sound much closer than it is.

The trail was hard to find (took me about 10 mins since there were basically no signs), but the trail is past the pavilion and behind the tennis courts. The trail itself is nice and marked well (blue blazed). I wouldn’t recommend going here after a heavy rainfall however, unless you wear boots.

Not bad, a quick and easy trail to knock out . I did track it and it was all most 1.5 miles .
