Fun trail but icy in certain areas. Fine for dogs if properly controlled as there are several areas of the trail with cliffs along the ridge. Spectacular views. Will do the full blue blazes trail soon!

Awesome trail, definitely one of my new favorite spots. Great views, steep climbs and flat trails. Has cliffs with a great view of the pond, a stream and nice forested areas. Will be back.

What an excellent winter hike! About a half inch of snow still remained on the trail, but I and a few other folks made it out there. I recommend doing the trail counter clockwise to get the really difficult part out of the way, enjoy the views of the lake along the ridge, and then a nice easy descent and walk back with only one tricky spot. It took me roughly an hour and a half to hike this, and it’s a great moderate level hike.

Went today in the afternoon after the snow stopped. The trail had one person who had already went through. Snow was about 4-5 inches deep on the trail. Nothing too icy, occasional slippery spots. I just hiked in my Merrell winter snow boots and they did great. I went counter clockwise up, which in my opinion is a better hike. In the snow it’s a little more challenging going up this way, but with the fresh snow and sun through the trees, made it feel like you were walking in a winter wonderland. With the snow and occasional stopping for pictures and taking in the view, the loop took an hour and 15 minutes. Great short hike in the snow!

Very well marked, but narrow trails and lots of great views. The hike is easy-moderate and there’s lots of people on the trails especially during the weekend. It can get a bit congested. Be careful with dogs and children as there are multiple cliff edges. But overall it’s really pretty! I finished it in about an hour and a half; left me wanting a bit more.

Well marked trails. The peak side is very rocky but easy to navigate. Some trees are bare but overall the foliage was pretty beautiful. All trails were dry and clear as of 10/24.

Good hike with scenic views. Foliage is perfect right now 10/14. Lots of unmarked short-cuts got me confused at times.

Great fall walk with nice views. Dog friendly but busy and very rocky in many places. The trails were narrow but well marked.

Easily done in less than 2 hours with multiple stops/rest or lunch to admire fantastic views. Best to navigate clockwise around reservoir. Hiking boots are advisable considering rocky trail.

Really nice trail, rocky at the beginning and fairly steep but evens out along the ridge and then very flat section down by the lake. Little bit of fall foliage but I bet it will be fabulous next weekend!

Although lots of traffic, this is a quick 1hr loop for a good workout. Be careful of potential active blasting at the quarry on the east side.

Great trail! Pretty views. Took a weird route but was about 4 miles total. Some parts with steep inclines and was fairly rocky at points but nothing harder than moderate. Would definitely do again!

A slight workout, quick incline. A LOT of views... very beautiful. A lot of trail traffic.
