Nice short walk through a shady woods. As others have mentioned there are side trails that we could take to length and walk a bit. The main trail is a dirt road that’s quite wide and pretty dry. There was a significant rain yesterday afternoon so it’s a little wet in places but it’s not bad. I’d recommend it for a short hike. This may not matter to most people, but in using the app, I noticed a peek for bull hill that was somewhat off the trail at 515 feet above sea level. Are usually like to hit those, just because they’re there, but it would appear that the summit of Bull Hill is actually at Lookout point, which is over 100 feet higher. Look out by the way was quite nice. Because it is summer and moist, the insect Kingdom was represented in somewhat annoying numbers so bring bug spray!

Hiked 5/5/2020: Very nice trail, I wouldn’t consider this a hike, but more of a leisure walk. Well marked, short, clean, nice view from the bench. We were the only ones there so there was no need for social distancing.

It was a short, easy walk to the top on a well-marked dirt road. I was a little underwhelmed by the view from the top. It would probably be gorgeous in the fall. The area that contains a bench is very small, so in this age of social distancing, you're out of luck if someone is already sitting there.

Easy trail.... extra wide path that is a little bit rocky, but the view from the top is serene! Great family hike for all ages. Pet friendly. A good mountain bike would work well too!

It’s more of an easy walk than a hike. Pretty view, more so in the fall.

Access to parking is a bit rough on unpaved road. Great for small children. Peaceful and scenic view at top

Excellent, easy hike. Our 4 and 2 year old were able to do the hike and they both really enjoyed the view at the look out.

Classic Woodstock beauty. A short easy walk from the gate on Bull Hill Road, you will find yourself looking down into agricultural and rural South Woodstock. The route follows well-signed woods roads that are half rock, half dirt. You may be tempted to turn on one of the inviting turn-offs but stay straight, you will find another sign reassuring you that you are on the right road. At the summit you will find a bench where you can sit and enjoy the view. Bring a friend, you will want to share the view.

This trail was wide and easily passable. It’s well marked and has a few off-shoot trails for those that want a little more. Could easily accommodate an off-road stroller like a Bob. The best part is the payoff at the end. A beautiful view with a lovingly placed bench. This is clearly a cared for and well used trail.

An easy hike with a very small and somewhat rocky elevation gain. There's a small right hand trail about 3/4 of the way in that leads to an old cabin site, but the trail continues straight. It opens up to an incredible 360 degree view of the surrounding towns. A small parking area is available at the gate near the end of the dirt road.
