Awesome trail to hike with the pooch.

Very pretty hike!!! Pretty flat, not too buggy or busy. Would definitely recommend. Only downside was the barking dogs from the kennel at the beginning of the walk wasn't very peaceful.

This is a beautiful hike! Keep in mind it’s a pretty long loop around the lake, we did probably more like 5-6 miles around and we’re expecting about 2.5! So many different trails to take! Some shaded dirt trails winding through the woods. Some wide, grassy trails. Some trails right up close to the river and lake. A great trail for kids and dogs and also perfect for mountain biking!

It’s really beautiful when you get to the reservoir, but we found a lot of paths to be washed out and not well marked at all. Because of all the nearby water, there do seem to be a lot of gnats on the path, even in cooler weather. You’ll definitely need to use the trail maps on here to navigate it successfully and will still probably got a few hiccups!

Consistently pretty all the way around. Watch out for snakes, we saw two and I stepped on one by accident.

I really enjoyed this hike however it would have been helpful if there were trail markers. There are a lot of trails within this place. Try to hug the shoreline as much as you can. It was very buggy and muddy but that’s to be expected with the rains and time of year. It’s a very beautiful place just make sure you leave yourself a trail of Reese’s pieces to find your way out lol. All trails was helpful until the battery died on my phone then we had to use our good ole sense of direction to get us out. Loved the woodsy feel of the place and the Little Rock steps to cross the brook and bridges. I would go back

Beautiful area, very peaceful. Several areas where it was muddy but easy to navigate around. About 6 areas to cross streams on rocks and branches. No trail markers, lots of footpaths.

One of the most beautiful hikes. Very easy to do for the whole family. I especially like hoping over the stones by the water to cross at halfway point.

I didn’t see any trail markers but All trails came in very handy today. I’m gonna go ahead and say this trail was probably one of my favorite hikes. I wouldn’t say it was strenuous but I wouldn’t say it was easy. Some places to cross water totally doable but not always obvious which way to go. There was a little bit of everything here lots of birds, very cool interesting scenic beautiful trail, highly recommended.

Really great trail, despite all the rain lately it wasn’t to muddy, had to detour once at stream crossing, and one swampy area, IMO that adds to the fun. Trails are unmarked so you need the gps on the app.
