easy to find but sadly to say the parking is not the best you can at least pull in off the road. I followed the yellow but sadly once you get to the big open field i had no clue where to go and so many foot prints and all kinds of trails were made. if you go across the field you can see yellow in the woods. I also did the half mile of the perry trail thats red. if you want to do more hiking i suggest going up the road from where you park and their are a few other trails like Fred Miller Feible trail yellow/ red blaze and blue blaze back their might of been Author Eunice sweeten trail

Nice trail. Well marked. You do need to follow the App to make sure you stay on the correct route. Drive in from the south to avoid a very bad road. Parking area is marked.

Nature trips

This trail is a mash up of several Canton Lantrist trails. Whoever set it up for this app did a good job of having it go through varied habitats. There are some nice mixed woodlands, fragrant pine woodland area, a low area where there is a nice stream running through and also an open field. I’m not overwhelmingly experienced with the stuff, but I would read it on the easier side of moderate. Because it’s rained a little bit in the last couple days, mosquitoes were present.

Beautiful woodlands, but this particular path is a series of many trails strung together, yellow red blue and back to yellow. I was very glad I had the app to keep me on track. This time of year the vernal pools are now breeding grounds for bugs. Not very steep or challenging, but there are no big payoff views either.

Lots of different trails to choose from in this area. I did this loop, and added the Perry section on for an extra half mile. The Land Trust does a wonderful job keeping these trails clear, marked and well signed. Great woodland trail, also streamside in parts. Spring has sprung, so there’s plenty of great new fern curling up and early wildflowers blooming.

The southern section of this loop is stunning and some of the most interesting hiking in the area. The northern section is less interesting, but this is still a worthy hike

Liked the loop. We parked on Barbourtown road and added the green blazed (hard to see sometimes) spur trail to this loop. Had 8 year and 10 year old kids and active dog on the loop. Wet in several sections with all the rain we've had.
