Really beautiful trail. Pictures can’t really capture. It’s lined with small stones and the trail is a narrow winding path through some very beautiful land.
Beautiful as the mountain laurel was in bloom. I extended my hike where the cross trail becomes Naugatuck trail east or west. East leads to Beacon Cap which I took. I Missed a slight turnofff to the actual cap and view. Still a good walk 3 miles. Great trail Condition.
Very scenic & short hike. Well maintained, narrow trail through most of the trail.
very nice place, I like the terrain, lot of gorgeous mountain Laurel everywhere I'm sure when they start blooming it's unbelievable, definitely recommend
Nice hike. The trail is well marked. However, the trail is swarming with bugs. Also, the trail is full of roots, rocks and boulders which makes it slow going at times. Additionally, there are many fallen trees on the trail and hanging over the trail. The first part of the trail is steep, but it levels off.
I do this one all the time since I live right next to it. Only a little over a mile long but it’s great when you’re strapped for time. Nothing extraordinary to see, I just love it because this is the trail that I used to walk as a kid - also is what made me get super into hiking. I will always have a soft spot in my heart for this one.
