This hike was fun because it was hilly, and had some cool obstacles as my nephew calls them. There was a nice bridge over a small stream. It was uphill and downhill.

Hiking

This was a good work out with a lot of elevation.... One of those trails that seems like you’re always going uphill. Most of the trail was hard packed dirt , A few areas of rocks; the only muddy areas had Little wooden bridges over them. I didn’t see another human the entire hike so if you’re looking for some solace this is a great place to hike. There were some annoying gnats so I’d recommend bug spray before you head out.

Definitely recommend this hike when you have limited time to hike or if just looking to do a short hike. Some steep inclines and lots of beautiful foliage.

Hiking

I’ve come to enjoy this trail more and more every time I hike here. A couple of trees are blocking the trail but nothing that can’t be easily worked around.

Hiking

Peaceful but unremarkable walk through the woods. My dogs refused to go on the narrow walkways over the wet parts and insisted going through the poison ivy. The trail is blocked in several places by fallen trees. Generally well marked but not in all spots. I had a hard time in 1 particular area finding the trail. I did like the rock walls which seemed to have a lot more rounded stones than usual.

Nice trail that is very well marked. A few steep hills, but nothing too difficult. The stream and waterfall was unexpected and so pretty.

Great family hike w/ 8+ year olds. steep spots with wet leaves should be raked. Might bring a rake next time I go.

We walk this regularly with our dogs. Hills are steep but the rest of the trail is mild. One of my favorite area trails.
