I just love People’s State Forest. Perfect temps. No bugs. Cool plants. 10/10.

My wife and I love this place we plan to go back many times to visit all the trails. The recording you see here is a shorter Loop then the name of this Loop. The trails are well marked. There are several trails that are named and have clear unique blazes. We did not get lost. A lot of good features: wetlands, waterfall decent exercise with some good up/down hills. There are some hardscrabble areas that may not be suitable for children.

Peoples state forest seldom disappoints. A nice, quiet would it experience. The trails are well marked and the path was easy to follow with the app. As expected, there are some trees down and various debris but negotiating that stuff was not a problem. The toll station was not open, but according to the sign they do charge a somewhat significant fee for out-of-state people.

Easy Peasy trail. Would make a pretty good fleet footed running trail. Quiet. Reflective and peaceful. My jog at rhe top is the visit to the boardwalk- worrh it...quaint, nice place to read a book.

took agnes bowen trail up and robert ross trail back. This is basically a quiet walk in the woods.Only saw 2 people hiking, so a lot of solitude. Is very rocky in some areas, so use caution.

Nice shady woodsy trail. I spent some extra time on the road bc I missed where the trail headed back into the woods and hooked back up with trail via a campground site. Nice boardwalk option not far off the trail with nice views. Went on a Saturday afternoon and didn’t see anyone but I did hear other people on different trails a few times.

Great hiking. It’s worth making a stop to the boardwalk into Beavers Swamp and the 30 degree view to contemplate the landscape.
