Great family hike. My kids are 3.5, 8, 9. They loved the areas where sticks/logs made small huts. Then the view at the opening was amazing !

Did Trail this morning for 8.5 miles . Parked at Kebler Pass TH and avoided all walking on a road. Saw a deer. Great variety - meadows, Aspen jungles, wildflowers, mountains, River.

Great trail. Easy for younger kids and our small dog. First part of trail is through trees but a lot is in the open. Bring a hat on sunny days! Beautiful views of Mt Crested Butte. Flowers starting to bloom!

Woods walk from out Airbnb. Pretty exposed. Wish we had driven to trailhead and left from there. Pretty flat and easy trail. Beautiful long views.

Nice stroll. We took the road by the lake to loop back into town. Only the first maybe quarter of a mile is wooded and there’s not much cover after that. Really nice views of the changing aspens.

Very easy trail with beautiful views. It is wide open with no shade. If you want to make a loop, return to town via Peanut Lake Rd.

It was a decent trail that I’m sure is best in the summer because of the wildflowers. Took four kids - 8, 8, 7, and 6 - and they had a great time. I loved the views of the snow-covered mountains in the background on the way out. Here’s what my kids said about it: “It has very cute flowers, and it’s fun spending time with family. It has pretty views.” - C, 8 years old “I loved seeing the chipmunks. The view is beautiful. The flowers were pretty. It’s a great way to be with the family.” - R, 8 years old “It was so cool in the woods because of all the flowers. There were lots of wish flowers. The water in the stream was cold.” - G, 7 years old “I liked seeing the trees, the flowers, and the awesome view. I loved being with my family on this hike, seeing a chipmunk, and petting all the nice dogs.” - C, six years old
