The all trails path is a tiny bike only path and they are flying so definitely don’t follow that. There are signs telling you not to hike on them. However there is a path you can take but it is heavily trafficked by trucks and constant dirt flying everywhere. Love winter park and gorgeous go hang out and bike but wouldn’t recommend for hiking. .

during trestle bike season, you can run the reseort dirt road going up. it mostly parallels the trail in All Trails. Great accomplishment. great views. 1800' vertical to top as marked. We continued up from Sunspot restaurant (open, water avail) to Lunch Rock restaurant (closed all summer) for an extra 400' vertical and 1.3 miles up. We headed back down to Lunch Rock where the Gondola was waiting to take us down. If you like skiing WP in winter, you'll love seeing it in the summer.

This was a tough hike. About 2 miles up gaining 1700 ft in elevation. Beautiful views though but take your time. Starts at about 9000 ft up to 10,700 elevation. Great for trail running down. In and out of trees. Winter park is always beautiful and there is a nice restaurant at the top. Food is very pricey. Lots of flowers in august.

Did not hike due to Sign at trailhead... "no uphill biking or hiking." We ended up hiking the Ute trail that zigzagged between the 2 chairlifts.

Fun ski area. Trails range from a bunny hill to extreme chutes. Divided into two sides, with mostly hard terrain at Mary Jane and mostly easy terrain at Winter Park. However, the bunny hill is at Mary Jane. Fun ski area, although viscous winds. Never any traffic, although Berthoud Pass can get icy. Parsenn Bowl is a wide- open bowl with fun tree runs. Vasquez Cirque and the Chutes are STEEP. Mary Jane has many moguled demons. Winter Park has steep groomers galore. FUN!

Complete this hike with my 14 year old daughter Summer of 2011! It was our first which made me regret not taking my Garmin 405 on the trip to CO . I hope we can find other trails to complete in the years to come.
