hiked at 1pm 8/24. Great hike. Easy for the most part, with a few good inclines that get the blood pumping. There were a lot of mountain bikers and every single one of them was courteous and respectful. My total hike ended up at 8.7 miles, but I took advantage of other trails not on the map.

I really enjoyed this hike. It’s an easy hike and there are some great views. Wild flowers everywhere. It was hard to know where the trail was sometimes. I had to use my All Trails map quite a few times to know where to go. A lot of mountain bikers. But overall a great hike!

Great beautiful snow covered trail! We hoped to snowshoe but there wasn’t even enough snow for crampons. Though the full area was covered in snow but all the trails were trekked out and easy to follow. My sister who’s a mountain biker said it would be perfect for a fat bike ride! But we enjoyed it hiking with the dogs. We walked the interweaving trails for 4 miles and it was pretty easy, with easy rolling hills. If you don’t have the map it might be easy to get lost since there are so many connecting trails (I used the pro version map on my phone which was perfect!). Will come back to this area for sure, possibly to trail run! On a Wednesday afternoon we only saw 2 other people (both with dogs too!)

trails were confusing. ended upcoming out by Nederland high school so to get back to my truck I had to jump on a bus and then walk about a mile south on 119. although, the views of the mountains where excellent!

Poor signage. More of a mountain bike trail than a hiking trail. And the red line on the map above is not the trail.

A couple good views, some forest, some meadows due to fires. Seems like a better biking trail. I picked up quite a lot of trash at the trailhead. Trail is hard to follow without using downloaded map. I probably won’t do it again.

This trail would be much better for mountain biking. You can see all the switchbacks which are fun for Biking but pointless for hiking in flat cleared ground. Nice Mountain View’s and very few people on the trail though which was enjoyable

Two things have really changed this area; a forest fire and the increasing numbers of meth-head squatters. The peak-to-peak corridor has really declined over the years. Too many people and sadly, too many people who leave bags of trash, unattended campfires and generally disrespect the land.

Beautiful views but very poorly marked trails. Would be very good for mountain biking but not as good for hiking. Would be good for snow shoeing

Trails not always marked very well. Beautiful views, but very very long hike.

This is average for Colorado standards. Still great for getting the dog out. One or two solid up hills, but quick. Trail running, biking, and riding seems like a good idea for the next outing.

The terrain went from rocky to sandy. The main road is great for all levels of riding. Single track can get tricky pretty quickly.

Great area for camping and biking. As for hiking, you're on a dirt road a lot of the time and it was easier than expected, but we'll defiantly be back for camping!

It's fun, quite easy to get lost back there. Lots of up and down, not like straight up and then straight down. Some technical sections, but they are what you make it, good place to spend the day, lots of trails to explore.
